Ethical Design of Intelligent Systems for Healthcare.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming healthcare and medicine with intelligent systems that assist in making medical diagnostic and prognostic decisions. However, the use of AI in such sensitive issues as people’s health implies taking special care of ethical issues such as privacy, explainability, transparency, accountability, human control and fairness. In this seminar session, we will discuss ethical design applied to the creation of intelligent systems for healthcare and its practical application in some use cases.
